Hey, friends!
Please join me and over 200 other talented, local artists for the 42nd annual juried spring show and sale, March 30 through April 7th, at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd St., Wilmington.
Want to meet the artists and share some refreshments as you browse the impressive collection of art? Join me at the Opening Reception on Friday, March 29, from 6 to 9 p.m., and we'll share a glass of wine.
Some people have asked me, "What is a juried show, and what's the big deal?" A juried show means that the art must undergo a judging process just to be exhibited--only art accepted by the jury can be in the show. You'll be viewing the best art that Wilmington has to offer (at least in the jury's opinion).
I'll have two pieces in the show: Octopus, a watercolor painting, and Forest King, a 3D natural object wall sculpture.
I hope to see you there!
